Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος γράφει ιστορία. 10 οσκαρικές υποψηφιότητες για το ” The Favourite” όσες και το ” Roma”

Όπως κάθε χρόνο, έτσι και φέτος στο τέλος του Ιανουαρίου ανακοινώνονται οι υποψηφιότητες των βραβείων της  Αμερικανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου.

Όπως το είχαμε προβλέψει ήδη από το Φεστιβάλ Βενετίας, το ” Roma” του Αλφόνσο Κουαρόν και το “The Favourite” του δικού μας, του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου, θα διεκδικούσαν αρκετά Όσκαρ. Οι σημερινές υποψηφιότητες, μας επιβεβαίωσαν, αλλά μας εξέπληξαν οι 10 υποψηφιότητες για το ” The Favourite”. Πιστεύαμε ότι θα ήταν προτεινόμενο για τις γυναικείες ερμηνείες και για τα κοστούμια. Το γεγονός ότι ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος είναι υποψήφιος και για καλύτερη ταινία και για σκηνοθεσία, συγκρίνεται με τις ίδιες υποψηφιότητες  του Μιχάλη Κακογιάννη για τον ” Ζορμπά” το 1974. Όμως η ταινία του Γιώργου  Λάνθιμου  δεν διεκδικεί 2-3 Όσκαρ, αλλά 10! Αποτελεί τη μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία Έλληνα σκηνοθέτη στα χρονικά της 7ης τέχνης, παρά το γεγονός πως η παραγωγή δεν είναι ελληνική.  Την ταινία θα τη δούμε στην Ελλάδα το Φεβρουάριο.

8 υποψηφιότητες για το ” A Star is Norn” 8 και για το Vice, 7 για τη νέα ταινία του βετεράνου Σπάικ Λί, το BlacKkKlansman.

Η απονομή θα γίνει την Κυριακή 24 Φεβρουαρίου στο Λος Άντζελες.
